  • The Policy Fellow supports CJC's advocacy work to improve access to employment and reduce economic disparities for people of color. They aid in creating equitable career pathways, reducing barriers to employment, and ensuring marginalized groups benefit from public investments in job creation. Administrative support for coalition tables is also provided.

  • Chicago Jobs Council (CJC) is seeking experienced trainers to join our facilitator pool as independent contractors for the FY2025 training calendar year. Facilitators will lead interactive, experiential training sessions focused on workforce development best practices, leadership development, mental health resources, racial equity, SNAP/TANF employment & training, and trauma & resilience. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in both virtual and in-person facilitation, and a commitment to CJC’s mission of creating an equitable workforce development system.
