Megan has worn multiple CJC hats over her past 13 years with the organization. Currently, she engages with CJC’s various partners through contract and grants management, fiscal agency services, event planning, project management, staff recruitment and coordination of CJC’s internship program. Internally, Megan works closely with her team to keep the lights on. Megan spearheads projects (new database, new website), keeps ongoing operations on track (payroll, benefits, grant writing), and contributes to the organization’s strategic direction. Before coming to CJC, Megan was a “Job Shadow” Developer at a junior high school in Detroit, and a non-profit fundraiser at Tufts University in Boston. In between, she studied public policy at the University of Michigan. As a CJC job applicant, Megan summarized her long-term career plan aspirations as “working my tail off for an organization I love.” She is currently living that dream.
Megan’s first job was working Quality Control at a local manufacturing plant. She is easily distracted by Instagram accounts featuring rescue dogs.
