Ashley joined the Jobs Council as a Program Associate for the Frontline Focus Training Institute (FFTI) in October 2018. In this role, she crafts and facilitates professional development courses for workforce development staff, and assists with the implementation of Workforce 360 events. Previously, Ashley worked in community economic development in Senegal with the US Peace Corps, where she designed and taught financial literacy and entrepreneurship curriculum to youth, small business owners, and farmers.
Ashley’s drive for this work was born out of the notion that an open mind and empathetic communication are crucial for creating greater understanding between our diverse selves.
Ashley’s first job was the nacho jalapeño topper at the snack stand of a motocross speedway.
