Angela joined CJC’s team in August 2018 as a Policy Fellow. In this role, Angela supports policy research and advocacy, and enhances communication strategies to build our reach. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Applied Community & Economic Development through the Stevenson Center at Illinois State University. Angela draws from her qualitative research background in medical anthropology and public health, as well as coursework in community and economic development to contribute to CJC. Angela is motivated by a belief that every human has the right to health and well-being, and that equitable, quality employment opportunities are a foundational aspect of that right.
