Workforce Development Working Group

Our Workforce Development Working Group meetings are a bi-monthly forum to discuss programs, policies, and actions that help move people out of poverty through employment. We learn from one another, take action together, and hear from a variety of experts about their work. Whether you are interested in opportunities to engage in advocacy, would like to learn more about effective employment and training programs, or want to network with other professionals tackling poverty and unemployment, you are welcome at Working Group!

Annually, more than 100 community-based advocates and providers participate in our Workforce Development Working Group. You are welcome as a CJC member, other community stakeholder, or an interested individual committed to lifting people out of poverty through employment.

Contact Angela Morrison for more information.
