CJC acts on the principle that effective public policy results from diverse and broad community participation. Our members include community-based organizations, civic groups, businesses and individuals who support our mission. Our members are committed to helping disadvantaged Chicagoans enter the labor market, pursue sustainable careers and move out of poverty.
Together, we pursue our mission through advocacy, research, public education and capacity-building initiatives. We work to reform public policies and influence employment and human-service programs to better serve disadvantaged job seekers and low-income families.
The result…ideas and actions from the community, for the community. Be a part of the solution. Join today!
