Finding new employers to partner with can be a daunting task. Your predecessor’s rolodex might provide you with some leads, as might dropping in on employers at your favorite stores. While these are good places to start, there is a wealth of labor market information on the web that can help you conduct more targeted outreach. This data can be used to understand career growth opportunities, determine current salaries for different job titles, discover which industries are poised for growth, which businesses are downsizing, and what types of training and education are necessary for your clients.
