Eric joined CJC as a Policy Research Assistant in August 2014 through the Lutheran Volunteer Corps. As a researcher on the policy team, Eric maintained the Workforce Information and Resource Exchange (WIRE) – an online portal to data for workforce development and closely-related fields. In August 2015, Eric moved into a new role as Policy & Communications Associate, continuing his policy work, while also handling external communications for CJC.
Eric graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota in 2013, where he studied Political Science and Religion. As an undergraduate, he strengthened his research background and passion for economic justice while writing his thesis on corporate personhood, and the concept’s historical evolution. Eric also has experience with political organizing, working with Minnesotans United for All Families, the campaign that eventually won marriage equality in Minnesota.
