Ellen joined CJC in 2007 as a Program Associate. Now, as Director of CJC’s Frontline Focus Training Institute, Ellen provides professional development training and capacity building resources to workforce development professionals. She also develops, designs, and revises training curriculum; facilitates customized trainings; and engages in strategic outreach to expand the program’s offerings. Most recently, Ellen established the Frontline Workforce Association, an open group that meets bi-monthly, free of charge to discuss timely topics of interest in the field.
Ellen is originally from Des Moines, Iowa and attended Drake University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in English Writing and Sociology. She received her Master’s degree in both Social Work and Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
