Crispina Ojeda

Crispina joined CJC in July 2009 as a Statewide Policy Associate focusing on workforce development issues. In this capacity, Crispina’s responsibilities include convening workforce development stakeholders in various Illinois communities to improve employment and training policies and programs for low-income job seekers and to increase access to funding for programs in each community.

As a graduate student in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois Chicago, Crispina served as a Presidential Fellow for the Chicago Transit Authority and Mayoral Fellow for the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office. Additionally, Crispina interned at the American Planning Association and the City of Chicago’s Police Department.

Prior to attending graduate school, Crispina worked for two years as a Site Coordinator for National Student Partnerships (now Lift) in the Uptown Neighborhood. Crispina has a Bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in communications from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
