Angela Bailey
Angela joined CJC as a Policy Associate in June 2010. In this role, Angela’s primary responsibility is managing the Chicagoland Green Collar Jobs Initiative.
Prior to her work at CJC, Angela has worked as a Communications Associate for the National Transitional Jobs Network at Heartland Alliance and as a Research Assistant for Dr. Charles Payne on behalf of the Woodlawn Children’s Promise Community. Angela was also a 2009 Mayoral Fellow for Mayor Richard M. Daley’s Office in the City of Chicago. Both her professional training and educational background are research based with attention to the evaluation of social policies intended to create mobility opportunities for individuals living in economically and socially disadvantaged urban communities.
Angela has a B.A. from Knox College and an M.A. from the University of Chicago.
