America joined CJC, as well as its office suitemate the Chicago Community Loan Fund, in March 2007 as Receptionist/Office Manager. Now, as Administrative Assistant for CJC, she continues to manages the suite, provides general office and administrative support to CJC, and greets all guests with a warm welcome.

America received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management in 2006 from Robert Morris College (now Robert Morris University). She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Human Resources from Robert Morris University. She previously worked for the Chicago Community Loan Fund as a work-study student.
